Established in 2006, Creature Comfort Inn is situated on over 8 acres of rolling hills in the breathtaking Shenandoah Valley. 

The resort was built with the care & well-being of your pets in mind. Our highly trained Pet Care Specialists get to know each & every guest to provide them the best possible experience while they are away from home.

Our state-of-the art resort offers our guests Dog-TV (and kitty TV) for their entertainment when they aren’t being tended to by one of our Pet Care Specialists, warm radiant floor heat to keep them warm in the winter & hospital grade UV filtration to keep them healthy. Your pets will hear calming music throughout the building specially recorded just for pets. (See Calming Music for Pets on Amazon), nothing is too good for our guests!

While you are enjoying your vacation, your furry (or not so furry) family members will be having a blast with tons of activities to keep them busy. Check out our services page for all the extras that we offer. 

Who wouldn’t like to live a calmer, more fulfilling life with their dogs? With years of experience & hundreds of hours of continuing education, our training programs are tailored to fit the needs of our clients and their pets. Check out the training tab or give us a call for more information.



Because we take a very hands on approach in caring for your pets, the owners (Tammy & Terry) are on-site and take the care and happiness of all the pets very seriously. When you call, chances are you will speak to one of them. They will be there to greet you when you check your pets in. You will always know who is taking care of your “babies” and they won’t be strangers to them.

Creature Comfort Inn is open 7 days a week and we welcome tours during our office hours 9-12 & 3-5:30 daily. Outside of those times, we are caring for pets which is our #1 priority.
